Funeral plans have been set for Thursday, May 29 In honor of the life and service of Cleveland Fire Cadet Symeon Williams, Governor Mike DeWine has ordered that U.S. and Ohio flags be flown at half-staff upon all public buildings and grounds throughout Cuyahoga County and at the Ohio Statehouse, Vern Riffe Center, and Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus. This order will remain in effect until sunset on the day of his funeral. |

This is the day of the funeral service for Lieutenant Mark Dranbauer, Jr. of the Baltimore City Fire Department who died on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from injuries sustained in the line of duty on Monday, May 12, 2025. As a matter of protocol, the Maryland flag is lowered to half-staff as well. |
