Poles up to 45 feet tall are supported. - Must the flag be displayed continuously?
No, but the system is designed for unattended poles. - How does the unit get installed?
The SmartFlag service is designed to be installed by customers. It can also be installed by a skilled handyman service in your area. - Who provides the power?
You are responsible for installing a power feed from nearby 120VAC weather-protected outlet to the unit installed on the pole. Landscape transformers are readily available and can be installed relatively inexpensively while conforming to local codes. You should check local codes to verify conformance.
- What if I need to take the flag down for a while?
Flag movement can be suspended temporarily (subscription does not pause). - How do I change out a worn flag?
You can easily disengage the rope from the unit for servicing, then replace it and restart the unit. - What if my flag gets stuck?
If a flag stalls when it’s being repositioned, we will work with you to free it. - What if the unit is damaged or stolen?
While the unit is in your custody, you are responsible for damage or loss. - Who repairs a failed unit?
If the unit fails during normal usage, Flag Worx will send you a replacement unit at no cost to you. - What happens if I discontinue the service?
You return the flag positioning unit, then restore the pole to its original state using the parts you retained from the installation.
